Well, it is an important point. That 'illegitimate' category I believe is at the heart of the deception that prevents the truth from being told. I call it the 'Able Workforce'. I first came up with the idea from a simple formula: a + b = c as in the given work force plus those not in the work force gives you a number representing the potential workforce. Then subtract retired and disabled or a + b -(r+d) = c … OK OK Fine… then we have the Home Makers and the people in prison, therefore a + b -(r+d+hm+p) = c. OK Fine. So we now have the B-1 formula for the remainder being those able to work but who are not working.
So here is the current report vs. my RAW numbers. I use the raw numbers as I do not see the reason for the games. You are smart. You understand the conditions on the ground and the oddities that may or may not affect the outcome as to reason. I am simply presenting evidence for you as the jury to judge the guilt or innocence of the current administration's representation of the unemployment numbers. So the final number is total work force as given in c divided by those not working ..i.e. the unemployed which is as of 11-22-2013, 33,951,538 or 21.75% of the Able Work Force is not working. That places us 3.25% below the statistical demarcation point that officially categorizes the current economy as a depression. Using these figures for Unemployment, you have to admit we as a nation are in a depression.
Other interesting numbers based only on RAW numbers.
U-3 is 7.8% vs. the government 7.3% this is the gov. Official number of unemployed
U-6 is 14.93% vs. the government 14.4% this is the gov. Actual number of unemployed
This is my number the B-1 which is 21.75% of those people who are able to work do not have a job.
Additional Roadside Distractions
Interesting to note that in the 3 quarter of last year (2012) of those people who have not completed High School, 18.8 % were unemployed. Yet for those who had finished High School the number was 10.4%
The U-6 number for those people who have not completed High School was 30.8 percent unemployed! Again for those who had completed High School 18.1% Point taken: FINISH HIGH SCHOOL!
Here is the REAL ISSUE that the current dysfunctional administration will not talk about in the same 3 Quarter of 2012 'More than half (27.7 million) of working-age American citizens not holding a job have no education beyond high school. This is a huge pool of potential less-skilled workers.
The figures for less-educated citizens not working do not include the 3.2 million forced to work part-time, nor do they include the 6.7 million teenagers (16 and 17) not working. They also do not include the nearly 170,000 less-educated U.S. citizens over age 65 who are actively looking for a job.'
It is also important on the Immigration front that of the 11 million illegal aliens now in country, 79% of those have no more than a high school education. So that they are competing with American Citizens who are less educated than we would like to have in the workforce. Of the citizens who are unemployed the 33,951,538 there are 7 million illegal aliens holding a job ! That is 20.6% of our unemployed able workforce or 33% of our ACTUAL Unemployed or 62.3% of our Official Unemployed could have work if we followed IKE's example and forced the illegals to go home at the point of a gun…
In addition, Medical Care Services costs are up 2.9% compared to the increase in premium costs of Obama Care that will skyrocket. My Brother's premium is going up +50% !
